Structural composition: The U70BLP insulator consists of an iron cap, tempered glass components, and steel feet, which are bonded together with cement adhesive. Adopting a cylindrical head structure, the head size is small, the weight is light, the strength is good, and the creepage distance is large, which can save metal materials and reduce line costs. To meet the needs of live working, the brim adopts the traditional structural shape in China.
Mechanical performance: It has high mechanical strength, is not prone to cracking on the surface, and can withstand various mechanical forces such as gravity, tension, wind force, and icing weight of the wire. It has good impact resistance and shock resistance, good anti brittleness and creep resistance, is not easy to break, has good bending and torsional strength, and can withstand internal pressure.
Electrical performance: The electrical strength is stable and remains unchanged throughout the entire operation period. The aging process is much slower than that of ceramic insulators, and the service life is longer. It has good arc resistance, and even after being struck by lightning, the new surface remains a smooth glass body with a tempered internal stress protection layer, which can maintain sufficient insulation performance and mechanical strength.
Anti pollution performance: It has good anti pollution flash performance and point corrosion resistance, and can operate safely under heavy pollution conditions without frequent cleaning. Its wet withstand voltage and pollution withstand voltage are 2-2.5 times that of ceramic insulators with the same creepage distance.
Maintenance feature: It has a zero value self breaking characteristic, with an annual operating self breaking rate of 0.02% -0.04%. Operators can observe from the ground or by helicopter, without the need to climb poles and conduct individual inspections, reducing labor intensity and saving on line maintenance costs.
Environmental adaptability: Suitable for extreme temperature ranges from -40 ℃ to+50 ℃, with good aging resistance, corrosion resistance (based on actual reports), and low temperature resistance.
Interchangeability: This insulator can be used interchangeably with porcelain insulators, increasing design flexibility and compatibility.
