Standard glass insulator U40B

U40B is a standard suspension tempered glass insulator, mainly used in power transmission and distribution lines of power systems to support wires and isolate currents. It is one of the commonly used insulation components in medium and low voltage power grids.

Performance advantages:

Zero value self rupture: If insulation failure occurs in glass components, they will rupture on their own, making it easier for ground inspections to detect faults;

Environmental resistance: resistant to ultraviolet radiation, wind and rain erosion, suitable for general climate areas;

Easy maintenance: The glass surface is smooth and has good self-cleaning properties, reducing the probability of dirt accumulation.

Mainly used for 10kV-35kV medium and low voltage overhead transmission and distribution lines;

Suitable for wire suspension and insulation isolation of supporting structures such as utility poles and iron towers;

Multiple pieces can be connected in series to meet the insulation requirements of higher voltage levels.
